The Peacock Princess; a story to color
by Suzanna Leigh
The Peacock Princess is a self-rescuing princess who uses the power of dance instead of a sword.
Inspired by a story especially popular in Yunan Province, China, this story originated in India. I have expanded the story and used names and places colored by my visit to Yunan and by my own Western perspective.
